Election of Cathaoirleach and Leas Cathaoirleach of Shannon Municipal District

Councillor Mike McKee (Sinn Féin) has been elected Cathaoirleach of the Municipal District of Shannon during their annual general meeting held on 27th June 2017. Councillor McKee replaces Councillor John Crowe (Fine Gael) in the role.
Councillor Gerry Flynn (Independent) has been elected Leas Cathaoirleach in place of Councillor McKee who held the role for the past year.
